FOOD PACKAGING — MADE OF MORE
Bio-based plastics for sustainable food packaging in the spotlight
The European project ViSS will transform the food packaging industry, leading the transition from fossil-based polymers to bio-based and biodegradable ones.
ViSS will demonstrate a circular value chain based on PHBV (a copolymer of the PHAs family crafted from industrial organic residues) as a safe, environmentally, socially and economically sustainable alternative to conventional plastics for food packaging.
